Inspirations

In a long-running series, architects were asked by Building Design magazine to select a project that had particularly inspired them in their lives and careers.

Working alongside journalist Pamela Buxton – who expertly interviewed the architects – and photographer Ed Tyler, the extensive collection was subsequently published as the book 50 Architects 50 Buildings. It was created in collaboration with the Twentieth Century Society and Pavilion Books. My photograph of the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille was used on the cover.
