Chilehaus, Hamburg

Inspirations

Hamburg's Chilehaus was chosen as the inspiration of Eric Parry, of Eric Parry Architects. The huge brick expressionist building was designed by architect Fritz Höger, with artist Richard Kuöhl, and completed in 1924.

Says Parry: "Chilehaus captures an extraordinarily vital moment in German culture, part of the great flowering of expressionism".
