Vault Youth Zone, Preston

Designed by John Puttick Associates, with a vibrant interior developed in collaboration with Ben Kelly. The site for the Vault Youth Zone faces the iconic Preston Bus Station – refurbished by John Puttick Associates and re-opened in 2018 – and the new public square created as part of their masterplan for the area.

The Vault's main entrance opens onto the public realm, taking advantage of a prominent location to deliver a building that young people can identify with and be proud of.

Part of the brief for the shoot was to emphasise the relationship of the new building with the bus station.
