Saatchi & Saatchi, 40 Chancery Lane

Designed by architect Bennetts Associates for developer Derwent London, 40 Chancery Lane is a seven-storey development that integrates with the surrounding historic street pattern thanks to its narrow passages and open courtyard. 

Jump Studios was appointed to create the workspace within for communications agency Saatchi & Saatchi. It aims to evoke the company's spirit as soon as you walk through the door. Instead of a traditional reception area, a ground floor social hub with bar and café area enables visitors and employees to mix. Elsewhere, the workspaces were designed to be open plan, informal and collaborative.

The project also provided an opportunity to resurrect the agency's famous in-house pub. The Pregnant Man was named after a celebrated 1970 campaign for the Family Planning Association.
