Dove Cottage, Grasmere

Photography of the newly-restored interior spaces of historic Dove Cottage – former home of poet William Wordsworth (1770-1850) – was commissioned by Nissen Richards Studio. The brief was to capture the magical atmosphere of the spaces and surrounding landscape.

Restoration of the cottage, by Nissen Richards Studio and Purcell UK, is the first phase of the major Wordsworth Grasmere project that also includes an expanded museum, new café and learning centre. Client is the Wordsworth Trust.
