I spent an exciting day in Nottinghamshire in July, capturing the magnificent structures of West Burton Power Station and North Leverton Windmill, part of a campaign by the Twentieth Century Society to raise awareness of the power station's imminent demolition.
The society had arranged for a light aircraft to fly over the power station, trailing a banner to raise awareness of its campaign to save cooling towers across the UK.
Prior to the fly-over, we visited the airfield to watch the pilot and crew prepare, unfurling the enormous banner.
Read all about the stunt – and the campaign – on the C20 website.
