Space Popular: The Portal Galleries

Exhibition at Sir John Soane's Museum by multidisciplinary design duo Space Popular. With a focus on 'the portal', the exhibition invites visitors to experience the magic and mechanics of virtual travel.

The museum is used as a starting point from which to begin a multidimensional journey created by Space Popular's Lara Lesmes and Fredrik Hellberg. The result is a database of more than 1,000 fictional portals, categorised by type.

As well as photographing the exhibition, I was also commissioned to capture portraits of Space Popular.
