Buses and Brutalism: Preston Bus Station

exhibitions

To celebrate Preston Bus Station's 50th birthday, Gareth Gardner Gallery hosted a pop-up exhibition of my photographs, plus archival material kindly supplied by BDP.

I have photographed the bus station, a landmark in brutalist architecture, on several occasions. Prior to its refurbishment, I was commissioned by Blueprint magazine to photograph and write about the building. The images and words can be seen here

Refurbishment architect John Puttick Associates commissioned me to capture the completed project, which can be seen here.
