The latest issue of the Journal of the London Society features my photo essay on Deptford's painted walls.

I'm fascinated that so much of the area's history is visible on its walls - from WW2 air raid shelter signs to modern murals and vintage 'ghost' advertisements. I had great fun researching the key locations and photographing them during the latest lockdown.

Copies of the 2021 journal are available from the London Society's website
